My culinary experience began early with various occupations in
my mother's restaurant, which led to a position at Boyd’s Mason
Lake Resort in northern Wisconsin.  From there I continued my
training at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Minneapolis.  After
another eight year stint at Boyd’s Resort, I moved to Gunnison,
and currently bake at Western State College.

Guilty Pleasures Baked Goods got it's initial start at the
Gunnison Farmer's Market in 2004.  After an enthusiastic
response, I decided to expand to a year 'round operation in my
former location at 219 N. Iowa.  Unfortunately it was too
enthusiastic of a response.  I had the good misfortune of being too
busy, and when my lease came up for renewal, I had the tough
decision to make of either trying to expand, or return to my job
with Sodexo at Western State.  After careful consideration of the
physical demands, the college won out and I'm now back to
baking full time at Western.

My love of baking has been life-long and
my guilty pleasure is
being able to share my passion with others through my baked
