
My culinary experience began early with various occupations in
my mother's restaurant, which led to a position at Boyd’s Mason
Lake Resort in northern Wisconsin. From there I continued my
training at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Minneapolis. After
another eight year stint at Boyd’s Resort, I moved to Gunnison,
where I baked at Western State College.
Guilty Pleasures Baked Goods got it's initial start at the
Gunnison Farmer's Market in 2004. After an enthusiastic
response, I decided to expand to a year 'round operation in my
former location at 219 N. Iowa. After careful consideration of an
increasingly demanding work schedule and a hefty rent increase,
I decided to close my shop and return to baking at Western State.
My love of baking has been life-long and my guilty pleasure is
being able to share my passion with others through my baked
